It may not be the news Portugal desperately needs, but weather forecasts for this weekend are showing that the rain is going to make way for clearer skies starting Saturday afternoon.
With 73% of Portugal’s territory described as being in a state of “extreme drought”, this is not the news that was hoped for.
Even worse is the fact that IPMA, Portugal’s sea and atmosphere institute, is not forecasting rain for next week.
Temperatures for the weekend will be mild with maximums of 22ºC, 20ºC and 19ºC forecast for Faro, Porto and Lisbon, respectively.
