Though skies are still overcast today, Portugal is set to enjoy another sunshine weekend with temperatures mostly in the mid 20ºCs.
This early taste of summer means maximum temperatures are expected to reach 24ºC in the Algarve and Lisbon, 25ºC in the Alentejo and 20ºC in Porto.
In northern areas, however, temperatures may still drop to as low as 2ºC (Bragança) and 4ºC (Guarda) at night, though they also expect maximums to range between 15ºC and 19ºC.
The weather is set to affect people with allergies as pollen counts are going to be “very high” everywhere, continuing into the next week, says SPAIC (the Portuguese Society of Allergies and Clinical Immunology).
