You will have to be in the south if you want to enjoy sunny and warm weather in Portugal this weekend.
Although IPMA weather forecasts predict sunny weather throughout most of the country, temperatures will only exceed 20ºC in the south – and only on Saturday (March 14), when maximum temperatures are expected to reach 22ºC in Faro, 21ºC in Beja, 20ºC in Évora, 19ºC in Lisbon and 16ºC in Porto.
In northern and inland area, temperatures are staying distinctly nippy.
Sunday will see huge drops in temperature in the south, with Faro unlikely to feel anything above 17ºC, and Beja and Évora to experience the chill too.
Elsewhere, temperatures will remain stable but on the low side.
