Rain is threatening Portugal’s Carnival celebrations this weekend.
Weather forecasts predict heavy clouds and rain, though the good news is that these should be few and far between.
Temperatures remain on the mild side, with Faro, Lisbon and Porto expecting maximums of 18ºC, 16ºC and 14ºC. Bragança however is still locked in the cold, with maximums of 1ºC facing anyone brave enough to don a skimpy Carnival costume.
