Weekend weather: Rain forecast as clocks go back for winter

As clocks go back for winter at 2am on Sunday, Portugal is due for more rain.

IPMA, Portugal’s sea and atmosphere institute, predicts Saturday will be overcast, with rain falling more or less everywhere.

Sunday will be a bit better, with the centre and northwest dodging rain but experiencing “partially clouded skies”.

Temperatures will remain mild, with Faro, Lisbon and Porto set for maximums of 21ºC, 22ºC and 23ºC and minimums no lower than 16ºC, 15ºC and 14ºC.
