All of mainland Portugal and Madeira will be under yellow alert tomorrow (Saturday, May 7) due to gloomy forecasts of yet more “heavy rain, strong winds and thunder”.
Maximum temperatures will drop to around 10ºC and range between 15ºC and 20ºC, meteorologist Bruno Café has told Lusa news agency.
The dismal weather will stick around into next week, Café added, with no real break in the clouds till Thurday.
Yellow alert is the third most serious of a ‘danger scale’ used by Portugal’s sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA).
