Fifteen districts in Portugal will be under yellow alert this weekend due to the extreme heat that is forecast. Only Bragança, Vila Real and Viseu are not included in the weather warning launched by the Portuguese sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA).
The yellow alert begins at 10am tomorrow and will continue until 10pm the next day.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 37ºC in Évora and Beja, 33ºC in Lisbon, 32ºC in Faro and 30ºC in Porto on Saturday and could get even hotter on Sunday, according to IPMA forecasts.
It will be perfect weather for a trip to the beach as clear blue skies are also forecast and water temperatures in the Algarve will be around the 21ºC mark.
