Summer may be officially over, but summer-like weather will continue. Meteorologists are forecasting hot and sunny weather for the last weekend of September, with temperatures reaching the 30ºC mark in the Algarve.
The tendency will be for the weather to be warmer and sunnier in the south, getting progressively cooler and cloudier the more you head up north.
By Sunday, it could even rain in some northern parts of the country.
But for those of us down in sunny Algarve, the weather is expected to be very pleasant. And with sea temperatures around the 20ºC mark, there are surely plenty of reasons to head to the nearest beach.
