Summer is going to end in style, with “hot sunny” weather expected during the last weekend of the season, according to latest forecasts by Portuguese sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA).
Temperatures are expected to start rising tomorrow and will reach maximums of 26ºC in Faro, 31ºC in Lisbon and 25ºC in Porto on Sunday, with sunshine all the way in virtually cloudless skies.
Minimum temperatures will also increase slightly, and are expected to reach 20ºC in the Algarve on Sunday.
Speaking to Lusa news agency, IPMA meteorologist Bruno Café predicts the warm weather will continue throughout next week.
