Another very “hot, sunny weekend” with little to no wind is forecast for Portugal though temperatures are set to drop 2ºC to 5ºC, starting tomorrow.
According to national sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA), maximums will reach 31ºC in the Algarve, 33ºC in Lisbon and nearly 40ºC in the Alentejo and other inland regions.
Five districts – Guarda, Castelo Branco, Portalgre, Évora and Beja – are under “orange alert” until 10pm today due to the heat.
