May’s first weekend should see the return of sunshine and warm weather in the Algarve following this week’s clouds and rain.
According to forecasts, the weather will start clearing up tomorrow and the Algarve could see temperatures reaching a 22ºC on Saturday and going to as high as 26ºC on Sunday.
The Alentejo can expect maximums of 27ºC, while temperatures in Santarém could reach as much as 29ºC.
Forecasts suggest the weather will go on improving on Monday though rain could make a comeback later in the week.
