Portugal is expecting a weekend of warm but gloomy and possibly rainy weather. According to forecasts, the country will be covered by a layer of clouds all weekend, although maximum temperatures will continue to range between 25ºC and 30ºC.
Minimums temperatures are unlikely to drop below 18ºC in the Algarve, 17ºC in Lisbon and Porto and around 13ºC in the Alentejo on Saturday, although they are expected to fall several degrees on Sunday.
Rain is forecast for northern parts of Portugal tomorrow but by Sunday, it could be raining as far down south as Lisbon and Sines.
