Portugal is set to enjoy a hot and sunny start to the weekend tomorrow (May 19) before the weather takes a turn for the wetter on Sunday.
Maximum temperatures of 27ºC are forecast for Faro, Lisbon and parts of the Alentejo tomorrow as well as mostly clear blue skies.
No significant changes to the temperatures are due on Sunday although IPMA is forecasting periods of rainfall for most of the country.
The rain is not expected to continue into next week although skies may continue cloudy.
