Portugal is in for a cooler-than-usual weekend, with the Algarve and the Alentejo among the only places expecting warm, sunny weather.
According to IPMA weather forecasts, the weather will be generally cloudier on Saturday and sunnier on Sunday.
Temperatures will be similar on both days although slightly warmer on Sunday, with maximums expected to reach 28ºC in Faro, 27ºC in Lisbon, 31ºC in Évora and 22ºC in Porto.
There’s even a chance of rain in some areas on Sunday, warns IPMA, but certainly not in the Algarve where water temperatures should reach a very acceptable 21ºC.
