The last weekend of August won’t be as sunny and warm as holidaymakers were probably hoping. Forecasts show that temperatures are plunging, clouds are taking over and there is a real chance of rainfall.
In fact, all of Portugal is expecting cloudy skies tomorrow (August 26). The saving grace is that maximum temperatures will still be in the 30ºCs.
However, Sunday will see temperatures plunging with Faro, Lisbon and Porto only expecting maximums of 27ºC, 26ºC and 22.
Rain is also forecast in the centre and north of Portugal, with the wet weather due to make its way down south sooner or later.
