The fantastic November that Portugal has been enjoying is going to take a radical turn this weekend, with temperatures set to fall two to six degrees on Saturday (November 21) and rain likely making a comeback.
According to Portugal’s sea and atmosphere institute (IPMA), rain will start falling in the northern Minho area and will gradually make its way down the country throughout the day tomorrow.
And while Sunday won’t be so rainy, temperatures are expected to keep dropping.
“Maximum temperatures in the south and coastal north and centre regions won’t go over 14ºC, while in inland areas they won’t exceed 8ºC,” said meteorologist Madalena Rodrigues. Strong winds are also expected.
The cold weather will continue through next week although without any rain, IPMA predicts.
