Forecasts suggest that the Algarve will dodge the worst of Portugal’s wet weather this weekend.
Though the region is under yellow alert today (April 28) due to predictions of strong rainfall and thunder, the picture is set to start improving tomorrow.
The same cannot be said for the rest of Portugal where showers are expected all weekend long.
Temperatures will be mild, with maximums reaching 20ºC in Faro and Lisbon and 18ºC in Porto. Minimums are not expected to drop below 11ºC except for some north-eastern areas (Guarda and Vila Real).
