A weekend of bridge will be held between April 8 and 10 at Almancil’s Quinta Jacintina Hotel in a bid to raise money for animal association SOS Algarve Animals.
The bridge matches will be played from 2pm on Friday and Saturday, including cocktail and canapés on the first day and cheese and wine tastings on the second.
On Sunday, festivities begin earlier (10am) and will come to an end with a luncheon at 2pm.
Cost is €30 on Friday, €40 on Saturday and €50 on Sunday.
Anyone can sign up, though bridge players are asked to sign up in pairs.
All proceeds will go towards SOS Algarve Animals, which will use the money to sterilise cats and dogs across the Algarve.
