“See you in Portugal…” Web Summit founder Paddy Cosgrave tweeted the news today that a new edition of the world class Web Summit tech fair has been given the going ahead for November in Lisbon. No more ‘virtual meetings’, this one will be ‘for real’ – once again at the Altice Arena. Dates are November 1 – 4 and the lineup of speakers is being finalised. Said Cosgrave in a statement: “We couldn’t be happier to return to a live event; see people connecting in safety again. Reliving the magic of face-to-face interactions will be incredible”.
