Cuts to people’s water supplies due to non-payment of bills increased 15% in 2013 compared to 2012, seeing 11,836 households without water. Announcing the news, consumers association DECO said it reflected the ongoing economic crisis. “Every week cases of middle class consumers unable to pay their water and electricity bills” are being received by the association.
