Water attractions reopen at Zoomarine

The government’s decision to release waterparks from four weeks of enforced closure allowed Guia theme park Zoomarine to finally reopen its water attractions on Saturday (July 17).

“You can now dive in the liveliest wave beach in the Algarve, the ‘Zoomarine Beach’; float along continental Europe’s longest lazy river, the ‘Coconut River’; have fun with the family on the ‘Treasure Island’, and also on the brand new 2021 aquatic play area specially designed for the little ones, the ‘Fantasy Island’,” the theme park announced last weekend. ‘Jurassic River’ featuring 30 real-size dinosaur species as well as the ‘Harakiri’ water slide (12 metres high and 80 metres long) are also open to visitors.

Like last year, Zoomarine once again boasts the ‘Disinfection Monitored-Cleaning Checked’ seal of approval, granted by SGS Portugal, which establishes the theme park as a Covid-safe destination.
