As part of the SC Olhanense 105th anniversary celebrations, the Olhanense Veteranos invited the Soccer Olhanense Strollers Walking Footballers to play a series of small sided games on the club’s astro-turf pitch.
President Isidoro Sousa kicked off the festival as the WAGs cheered on their nearest and dearest.
The Veteranos, not used to walking, were constantly in breach of the rules, but this was a time for fun, fitness and friendship as the referees turned a blind eye on more than one occasion!
Following the more strenuous exertions of the morning, a convivial lunch was held at Restaurante O Franguinho where Paolo Turni was presented with a commemorative bottle of wine as Top Festival Player.
