The Walking Festival Ameixial, Loulé borough, is being held from April 26 to 28 and will take walkers through ancient routes over 2,500 years old.
The event, which includes 30 themed routes is promoted by the QRER cooperative and organised by Proactivetur and the Estela project.
The Walking Festival Ameixial is part of the tourism board’s Algarve Walking Season initiative, which aims to promote sustainable tourism in the hinterland Algarve. It is funded by the Valorizar programme.
