After being cancelled due to bad weather at the beginning of the month, a charity walk/run in aid of Lagos’ firefighters will now be held on Sunday, December 6.
The event, entitled “Caminhada/Corrida Vida por Vida”, will begin at 9.30am from the town’s fire station. Anyone who signed up for the previous walk/run is automatically enrolled.
Those who haven’t signed up can still do so until December 4, either at the fire station or Intermarché supermarket. The walk will be 5km and the run 10km. Registration is €5.
This far 750 people are due to take part while firefighters hope to attract as many as 1,000.
