Education || Vale Verde International School’s students have again achieved a 100% pass rate in their Cambridge Advanced Level (AIE) and Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE) examinations.
85% of IGSE students achieved A* to C grades, with 42.6% of students obtaining A* and A grades in their International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams and 82% of Advanced Level (AS and A2) students achieving A to C grades.
Special mention has to be made of the following students: Alice Millward achieved 10 A* and A’s, Nicola Thomas received 5 A* and A’s plus 4 B’s, William Mylne achieved 5 A’s and 4 B’s, Willow Shah-Neville received four A* and A’s, and André Schoenhardt achieved A* to C’s in all twelve of his IGCSE subjects.
Advanced Level (final year) students achieved all A’s and B’s in their subjects, with Jessica da Costa receiving a Distinction in the AICE diploma.
Cambridge International Exams are highly recognised worldwide for university entrance purposes. “Most students aspire to higher education and at VVIS the aim is to ensure that all students receive university placements at the end of their higher studies,” said school director Louise de Beer. “Well done to the 32 students who took the Cambridge International Exams!”
