VRSA fishing port first in Portugal to be partially solar-powered

Vila Real de Santo António’s fishing port has become the first in Portugal to be partially solar-powered.

Fishing authority Docapesca has announced the installation of 100 solar panels at the fishing port, which will produce enough energy to cover 30% of its energetic needs.

With a combined yearly production of 40,000kWh, each panel is able to produce 310Wp.
