VRSA criticises government inertia

The borough of Vila Real de Santo António has decided it cannot wait for a government green light any longer – after three years of building work at the Escola Secundária in which classes have had to take place in containers, the council is planning to move children back into new classrooms whether they’ve been ‘sanctioned’ by signatures from on high or not. Classes are thus expected to return to normal next term.
