A new roundabout designed to “improve circulation and security conditions” – and link to local bike trails – is being built at the north side entrance of Vila Real de Santo António.
According to VRSA council, the project includes the siting of a sculpture “alluding to the town’s history”, as well as general refurbishment of the area.
Costing €206,000, 65% of which will be covered by community funding, work should be completed by the end of June.
