A group of 15 young volunteer foreigners from nine countries has built two picnic parks in São Bartolomeu de Messines (Silves).
One is located in Cortes and the other near the tunnel to the town’s train station.
The project – promoted by the Portuguese Institute of Youth and Sports and backed by Casa do Povo de Messines and local authorities – was described as “very demanding” and took place between July 3 and 14.
