“‘Allo ‘Allo! It is me Michele of the French resistance, with a secret message. Read this very carefully – it will appear only once, then … poof … it will be gone.
The other night in the café, just after Madame Edith ‘ad finished yet another of ‘er ear-splitting performances, Monsieur René, while strategically distancing ‘imself far from ze piano and close to the last table, over’eard a conversation, with Helga and Herr Flic, the physcotic fiend of the Gestapo, concerning the missing painting of ‘The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies’!
It would appear that a spy working in Portugal ‘as tracked the painting to the Algarve and told ‘im to come just at the same time that we will also be there on the 12th 13th and 14th of May for our recruiting drive – at the luxurious Lagoa Auditorium (with the excellent translating system for British airmen).
But do not worry.
We ‘ave made secret plans with our friends The Algarveans Theatre Group ‘oo will be ‘eavily disguised as ticket and programme sellers in the foyer. They will allow only those with valid tickets to enter. They are so cunning these Algarveans and they will not let us down ‘Vive la Françe’.
They ‘ave also secured a photograph of Herr Flick so you can recognise ‘im – beware of ‘is stick – it is very dangerous so do not approach ‘im – just watch for my messages with the secret phone number to join us at our rendezvouz”.
