Restaurant Review – Tasca David
Tasca David (known as the Rib Shack) in Ferragudo was taken over by David (lucky coincidence) and Dipti in May this year and is now the perfect spot for Indian food.
Dishes are lovingly made from scratch by the very cheery Dipti using only freshly ground spices and some of her family’s secret recipes.
The concept is excellent and something that the area was missing.
For €16, customers can enjoy four courses, including papadums, pickles & dips, a mixture of four starters with salad, a choice of Jalfrezi, Karahi or Tika Massala with saffron rice and Fulecha bread, followed by dessert.
People with smaller appetites can order individual courses, while children’s portions are available for the little ones.
Dipti is always happy to accommodate and will prepare special vegetarian/vegan on request. She is also available to cook dishes for gluten/celiac intolerant clients.
Tasca David is small and cosy, seating around 20 people. So as you can imagine, it’s always advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The restaurant is already rating high on travel website Trip Advisor and has a lot of returning customers, which is a great achievement in such a short time.
Come along and give them a try yourself! Tasca David opens at 6pm every day. Daily specials and take away services are also available.
