Staff at the VIP Veterinary Surgery in Lagos celebrated the practice’s first anniversary with a party on May 9.
New office manager, Kay Vaz, said: “The party was wonderful and was attended by many people who came to celebrate our first anniversary with us.”
Opening early in 2008, VIP Veterinary Surgery is the first practice set up in Portugal by partners Dr Scott Miller, Dr Lars Rahmquist and Dr Geoffery Platt, who are originally from Australia and met while working at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London, UK.
With all three partners having travelled to the Algarve and falling in love with the region, they agreed to open the practice in early 2008, with a combined experience of more than 30 years in clinical veterinary medicine.
