Vilamoura International School against hunger

Pupils, parents and staff at the Vilamoura International School (CIV) took part in a campaign in support of the National League Against Hunger as part of the school’s mandate to pass on the values of charitable work.

The nursery section of the school hosted a dinner, which was then followed by a raffle as well as a charity cake stall run by children from years seven, eight and nine, while year five children contributed with games of football and basketball.

Through all of the initiatives, €1,450 was raised for the National League Against Hunger, with the total being announced during the end of school year gala dinner held at the casino in Vilamoura.

The money raised will be given to the charity this week to allow it to continue to help families suffering from social and economic difficulties throughout Portugal.
