Producers are getting ready for the special Easter ‘Mercado da Vila’ market, taking place between April 3 and 5 at Lusotur square in Vilamoura.
There will be stalls filled with Easter delights like ‘folares’ (sweet breads) and chocolate-covered almonds, as well as handicrafts, antiques, books and more.
Children will also have a lot to enjoy as the event’s programme features a number of traditional games, face painting, an inflatable castle and even an Easter egg hunt.
And for the more health-conscious among revellers, a local clinic will be on-hand for health screenings.
Students from the local school and kindergartens of Vilamoura as well as from Fundação António Aleixo were in charge of the decoration of the market, which will be open from 11am to 7pm.
