The 26th edition of the Vilamoura Marina International Boat Show started last weekend and will run until Sunday (June 18) at the award-winning Vilamoura Marina.
The event brings together the main players of the boating industry and provides visitors with an opportunity to see the latest developments from the nautical sector.
Exhibitors include nautical companies selling new and semi-new (brokerage) boats as well as representatives from brands of accessories, equipment, and integrated services.
Held since 1997, the Vilamoura Marina International Boat Show is marketed as “a unique exhibition in Portugal’s nautical sector as well as a postcard of the unmistakable Algarve lifestyle.”
The event attracts buyers, investors, business partners, nautical enthusiasts, the media, sector regulators and the general public.
Over the years, the event has proven to be a great contributor to the local economy, boosting sectors such as hotels, restaurants, transport and services in general.
In the last edition of the Vilamoura Boat Show, over 100 boats were exhibited by around 30 exhibitors in representation of over 50 brands. A total of 80,000 people visited the 2022 edition.
