Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris presents its Vital Wellness Programme for the season

Vila Vita Parc in Porches has developed the Vital Wellness and Well-being Programme for the coming months that includes the participation of national and international guest practitioners such as Achyuta Veda, Marta Gomes and Shri Parveen Nair.

They will visit the resort from May onwards to impart treatments and workshops aimed at the improvement of health as a whole through better optimization of body and mind.

This way, in addition to the usual treatments, massages and aerial yoga classes at Vila Vita Spa by Sisley Paris, the following sessions will take place:

  • Ayurveda Treatments, May 15 to June 30

Ayurveda therapy consultations, Ayurveda massage, Marma Therapy and Pranic Healing with renowned therapist Achyuta Veda to rejuvenate the body and soothe the mind. Ayurveda Therapy is an ancient Indian medicinal technique based on the principles of balance of body, mind and spirit, which treats each individual based on their unique needs. See the full programme.

  • Chakra Healing Workshop, once a week from May 15 to June 30

Chakra Healing is an ancient technique more than 5000 years old and is one of the pillars of the Vedanta Philosophy and Ayurveda System. It was developed by the Vedas – holy and wise men – with the purpose of healing and treating physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pathologies and imbalances. In these workshops, facilitated by therapist Achyuta Veda, you will find a structured programme with ancestral teachings, with the purpose of unblocking all the stagnated energy in the energy centres – the chakras -, and thus healing and aligning them. • Private Yoga Classes with Praveen Nair, on May 30, 31 and June 1

This yoga class is based on the “Iyengar Yoga” methodology, a progressive approach towards developing body awareness. The classes will also focus on reviving the overall health of the hips and shoulders.

  • Yoga & Ayurveda Weekend Workshop, June 2-4

Life is constantly shifting between movement and stillness, so sometimes a little break is needed to find balance again. This two-and-a-half day Yoga Movement Workshop, instructed by world-renowned Yoga teacher Shri Parveen Nair and Ayurvedic expert Achyuta Veda, comprising holistic therapies, breath and healing

classes, yoga practices and satsang conferences, will provide the tools needed to reset priorities and routines for health and wellness through a more balanced mind-body connection. See the full programme.

  • Women’s Health Workshop, July 3 to August 30

Facilitated by therapist Marta Gomes, the programme, covering health and fitness topics, breathing techniques, nutrition, lifestyle tips and pelvic awakening movements, passes on simple tools to each participant that can be applied, on a daily basis, for a greater connection between the inner self and the body.  See the full programme.

  • Advanced Physiotherapy Treatments, July 3 to August 30

Also facilitated by therapist Marta Gomes, specialised in traditional Chinese medicine and motor control through the Pilates Method, the so-called Advanced Physiotherapy combines manual massage, breathing, visceral manipulation, body postural corrections and motor control techniques that promote the body’s lightness and general well-being. • Women’s Health Journey, July 3 to August  30

This journey, led by therapist Marta Gomes, aims to refresh each woman’s relationship with her own body and, therefore, with herself. In everyday life, it is easy to disconnect from the essence and signals the body gives, to relax and self-care. Feminine energy means caring, often caring for others, but self-care and self-love are also very important, and should be given worth in daily life. See the full programme.
