Vila Vita Parc in Porches is celebrating its latest award – the Gold status from sustainability initiative Travelife.
The international certification scheme for hotels and accommodation is designed to show businesses the way towards increased sustainability.
Vila Vita’s general manager Kurt Gillig said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised by Travelife and presented with the Gold Award. At Vila Vita Parc, we feel it is essential to demonstrate a commitment to reducing our impact on the environment, through various improvements around the resort and working with the community.”
Vila Vita’s award follows recent renovation work.
