Vila Vita Parc resort in Porches has become the first establishment in Portugal to open a spa in collaboration with the iconic French skincare brand, Sisley Paris.
Entitled ‘Spa by Sisley’, the recently-launched spa marks the end of the resort’s renovation works which have been carried out in phases for the last four years.
Described as a “wellness wonderland”, the 1,600sqm spa is located in the already existing spa building and boasts 14 treatment rooms “equipped with the latest Gharieni treatment tables” and an “ample and bright fitness studio with glass walls and a view of the resort’s luxurious gardens”.
“We take a holistic approach to wellness, placing equal emphasis on body, soul and mind with diet, mindfulness and exercise plans,” says the resort.
Clients can also enjoy private or group aerial yoga, power yoga and chakra meditation classes or try out the HYPOXI Studio, “the first and only of its kind in Portugal”. HYPOXI is described as a “unique and effective method to get your body into shape” which is based on a “moderate workout routine and a balanced nutrition plan suitable for all ages”.
Says the resort in a statement, “Sisley’s treatments are known for combining an advanced scientific approach with the most refined natural products, including plant extracts and essential oils that are rigorously selected due to their biological properties and according to how they react to the skin”.
Guests at Vila Vita Parc can also enjoy the Sisley Phyto-Aromatic Treatments, which exist in different versions for the body and face. Each version has its own specific massage technique designed to meet the needs of each type of skin. These treatments combine massage rituals from all over the world.
