Vila Vita Parc announces special deal for those who are missing the Algarve

After closing for around two months due to the coronavirus pandemic, Porches’ Vila Vita Parc has announced that it will be reopening on June 19, with a special campaign inviting those who miss the Algarve to enjoy a holiday in the region in the last two weeks of the month.

Aimed at the domestic market, the ‘Saudades do Algarve’ campaign is offering a three-night stay for the price of two, with breakfast included, between June 16 and 30, when the resort will host a soft opening, and a 20% discount at its beach restaurants Arte Náutica and Praia Dourada.

The resort has also confirmed that its Armação Beach Club is opening for the summer season this Saturday (June 6). The beach club stretches across 300 metres of the Armação de Pêra beach with a new wooden walkway linking the three restaurants – Praia Dourada, Só Verão and Arte Naútica – and ample sunbathing area.

Meantime, back at the resort, a series of new preventive measures will be in place to contain the risks associated with the pandemic.

Staff will be wearing face masks at all times and will disinfect their hands and check their temperatures regularly.

All arriving luggage as well as the resort’s vehicles will be disinfected regularly, with all guests being handed a hygiene kit upon arrival containing a face mask and a disinfectant gel.

Online check-outs will also be available in order to reduce physical interaction at the reception.

Restaurants will be open according to a weekly plan and will have their capacity cut by half to ensure social distancing. The use of a face mask inside restaurants and bars is obligatory for all employees and guests except while eating.

Other areas – such as the resort’s crèche, gym, kids club, spa, hairdresser and V-Life Shops – will open only upon reservation.
