Two Michelin star chef Hans Neuner from Vila Vita Parc’s Ocean Restaurant will be hosting a Portuguese gourmet festival this weekend.
Entitled Rota das Estrelas (Route of the Stars), the event at the luxury resort near Porches will see the celebrated chef present a special menu on May 19 and 20, along with fellow two Michelin star chef Dieter Koschina from Vila Joya (Albufeira), newly starred chef Ricardo Costa from The Yeatman (Porto) and chef Benoit Sinthon from Il Gallo d´Oro restaurant (The Cliff Bay in Madeira).
Each evening includes a vertical tasting of Joselito hams of various characteristics and ages presented by a specialist.
One of the highlights will be the caviar tasting by House of Caviar, presented in conjunction with Ruinart Champagne where diverse caviars will be presented: from the river, semi-harvested, harvested, Chinese and the world-famous Beluga from Iran, the most expensive caviar in the world.
The Route of the Stars’ five-course menu has a price of €180 per person, including Champagne aperitif, ham and caviar tastings (wines excluded).
Tastings start at 7pm, with dinner at 8pm.
Aimed at lovers of great food, the festival highlights the gourmet excellence of the resort’s Ocean Restaurant.
