That’s how Vila Real de Santo António mayor Luís Gomes describes the success of ‘Cuidar’, a local health programme launched nine months ago in VRSA and Olhão.
Since then, locals needing help have been given 4,000 eye exams.
“It has ended the long waiting lists for people who desperately needed an appointment,” Gomes said.
