The re-opening of Vila Joya’s pool restaurant Segundo will take place on June 20, offering a more “laid back” alternative to the hotel’s Michelin two star restaurant, which was recently considered the 37th best restaurant in the world.
From June to September, Segundo will be open to the general public for dinner every Friday and Saturday and for lunch for the hotel’s guests only.
The restaurant’s Chef, Dieter Koschina, sought inspiration in regional Portuguese cuisine, which resulted in a menu essentially comprised of fish, seafood and regional delicacies, accompanied by the highest quality wines.
Situated in Hotel Vila Joya’s pool area in Praia da Galé, Albufeira, the restaurant’s privacy, scenery and tranquillity are some of its most alluring traits, as well as the high quality service that has become a staple of the resort’s restaurants.
Reservations are highly recommended due to the restaurant’s limited capacity of seven tables.
