The Vila Galé hotel group has invested around €6 million in renovations at its hotels in Portugal.
Among the new features are the renovations of the family rooms at Vila Galé Náutico in Armação de Pera in the Algarve, where the exterior of the building was also repainted and the outdoor pool was renovated, similar to the revamps carried out at the pools at Vila Galé Atlântico and Vila Galé Collection Praia, both in Praia da Galé.
At Vila Galé Atlântico and Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa in Albufeira, balcony frames were replaced to ensure better climate control and environmental sustainability. At Vila Galé Marina in Vilamoura, bathroom facilities in all hotel rooms were renovated.
In Elvas, Vila Galé Collection Elvas now offers a new playground, Club Nep for children, and a water feature. As for Vila Galé Ópera, both the reception area and the restaurant and meeting rooms have a ‘new look,’ with the introduction of new colors and motifs related to opera on the walls. The exterior garden was also reconfigured with the addition of olive trees and more plant species.
Vila Galé Porto now has a pizzeria called Massa Fina with an outdoor terrace, the sixth in the country, and the Soul & Blues bar has been redecorated, offering jazz nights on Fridays.
In recent months, Vila Galé has continued to invest in themed hotels. In Lagos, the rooms will be dedicated to fashion, a theme that the group says “already enlivens the common areas of this Algarve unit. The same applies to Vila Galé Ampalius, dedicated to photography, while at Vila Galé Ópera, each floor will be dedicated to an opera singer.
