Volunteers are being sought to carry out maintenance work on the Algarve’s pedestrian route Via Algarviana on Sunday.
Route signs and markings are needed along Section 9, from São Bartolomeu de Messines to Silves.
Those wishing to take part in the initiative should meet at the Vale Fuzeiros primary school at 9am.
The project for Via Algarviana, which covers 300km across the length of the Algarve, represents a €1.4 million investment, co-financed by the EU, Almargem, municipal câmaras and the tourism board.
