Lagoa Auditorium presents the Grand Variety Show on Saturday, November 5, from 8pm.
Host for the evening, Ian Carfrae, will be introducing a varied selection of performers on the night.
Clive Dunn, well known for his part in the series Dad’s Army, will perform his number one hit from the 70s Granddad, accompanied by Silvia Smeman, and two of his very own granddaughters.
Taking to the stage as music hall singer Marie Lloyd will be Karen Love followed by The Moon Dance Trio, who will provide a blend of American swing.
Dance acts include performances from the Alvor team Fit to Dance, with Paula Santos Silva, who will “take the audience dancing, Bollywood Style”. Then from the Carvoeiro Tennis Club, Nancy Marel and her girls will introduce guests to the world of Zumba dance.
For those with an ear for classical music, Ver a Luz will present songs with piano accompaniment, and guitar played by Pedro Frias and his students.
Other acts include the international singer Miss Pinky Steed and comedy with Cheeky Chappy Charlie.
On the night, guests can purchase a poppy on behalf of the Royal British Legion and there will also be a raffle in aid of APAA, an association for the protection of animals in the Algarve.
Tickets cost €12, with proceeds in aid of two-year-old Tatiana who suffers from cerebral palsy.
Doors will open at 7pm when guests can purchase tickets and beverages from the bar.
