As Twilight stars Bella and Edward wed in the latest film, vampire fans Victoria and Erik Downie recall their own “fangtastic” big day.
For Victoria and Erik Downie, watching the movie revived memories of their own nuptials.
Victoria, 30, a biomedical scientist, and Erik, 36, a civil servant, not only married in black on Halloween, they also wore specially-made fangs.
“We’ve seen all the Twilight movies and really enjoyed Bella and Edward’s love story, so it’s great they finally got married,” Victoria says.
“People might think we’re weird having a vampire wedding but we both love vampires and think everyone should choose how they want to get married. It was our day and the memories will remain with us forever.”
