Valverde Lawn Bowls Club in Almancil held their Christmas Party on Saturday, December 13. More than 30 members and guests enjoyed a one or two-night stay at the Holiday Inn in Armação de Pêra.
Wind and rain lashed the hotel on the Saturday night but inside it was warm and welcoming.
During the meal, Father Christmas arrived with a gift for every guest. Club chairman David Russell thanked Sue Hunt, Margaret Wilson and Carol Barnes for organising the event.
