Founded in 1962 as the Algarve’s first upscale resort, Vale do Lobo has grown to be the perfect getaway for its international community, in an exclusive corner of the Algarve’s golden triangle.

Oceano Clube holds some of the last true beachfront land available in Portugal. The area overlooks the Atlantic directly and is bordered by stunning nature reserve areas where the pine tree forest, a natural lake and dunes complement the breath-taking views of the sea. In this area you’ll find some of the resort’s most modern villas.
Avenida do Mar is the resort’s spinal cord. Stretching all the way to the Praça, it offers easy access to the clubhouse, shopping centre and spa. Being the original part of the resort, it lays at the heart of it all, but its central location doesn’t mean the views here are compromised — the rolling golf courses that stretch into the distance and the pine trees that line the road turn this area into one of the resort’s most sought-after locations.
Five renowned architectural studios were chosen to bring life into dreams and design a villa that inspires future homeowners, allowing their minds to wander beyond these magnificent plots of land. Fragmentos de Arquitectura, Guedes Cruz Arquitectos, Jutta Hoehn, Mário Martins Atelier and Vale do Lobo Team took into their creative hands the task of imagining and designing these luxury beach homes.
“There was really just one rule in our briefing to the architects: don’t hold back”, says Pedro Reimão, executive board member at Vale do Lobo. “Everyone buying a plot ultimately desires to build a unique villa, that reflects personal lifestyles and preferences. And regardless of what owners dream when they look at our plots, this is exactly what we will give them. The Signature Projects are intended to showcase the endless possibilities and inspire those dreams”, he adds.
