The Vale do Lobo Spring Market, which was due to be held on Saturday, April 4, has been cancelled, announced the resort.
“Following the recommendations shared by the DGS (Direcção-Geral da Saúde) and ATA (Algarve Tourism Association) regarding social and public events with the aim of preventing the transmission of the coronavirus in Portugal, as well as the latest developments with the National Declaration of Alert State, effective until April 9, we inform that the 2020 edition of the Vale do Lobo Spring Market will be cancelled,” said the resort.
“Although this is a difficult decision and there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at Vale do Lobo Resort, we believe it is the right and the most responsible thing to do taking into consideration the overall wellbeing of our exhibitors, partners and potential visitors.
“We are certain that the festive edition of the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market 2020, which will take place on December 5, will allow us to carry out this event in a much more peaceful and encouraging global environment, providing the warm and inviting atmosphere that will benefit everyone. Registration details will follow shortly.”
