February is dedicated to well-being at Vale do Lobo. As the resort says, “a healthy body and a healthy mind are imperative for those looking to live life to the fullest”.
A wide range of activities are organised all year round for residents and visitors to keep active.
Is yoga your ‘cup of tea’? Vale do Lobo will have you covered with classes taking place every week. Running training and aquatherapy are two other regular activities hosted by the resort.
Vale do Lobo is also organising a series of “one-shot” events, such as a Resort Discovery Walk on Valentine’s Day (February 14).
“This fun group walk is the ideal way to get out and about, enjoy the sun and fresh air, meet other residents and guests, and take in our beautiful natural surroundings. This one-hour, low-impact activity will take you on a journey of discovery,” the resort promises.
A Wellbeing Session is planned for February 16 and is described as a “journey into self-discovery which explores various personal development ancestral and contemporary therapeutic techniques.
“The goal is to arrive at a safe and comfortable place within you to help you with healing on a multidimensional level – body, emotions, mind and spirit. Come with an open mind and leave closer to yourself,” the resort says.
Another highlight promises to be a Candle-Lit Sound Healing event, led by Carly Grace, on February 19. The event will aim to provide “a sanctuary to deeply relax, lie down and be bathed in the healing sounds of the Alchemy Bowls”.
Those who have taken part in the event describe it as “a wonderful way of getting more focused and having more clarity on how to work more efficiently and effectively”.
Also on the agenda are paddle and tennis classes, a high-impact fitness bootcamp, clinical Pilates, indoor cycling and much more.
